Adult Sabbath School
Adult Small Group Bible Study (Sabbath School)
Come and join in with a Sabbath School group as we study the Bible together in small groups and share the experiences of the week with each other. Adult Sabbath School commences with all groups combined in the main body of the church. After a brief introduction, mission segment, or something similar, they separate into the respective groups to enjoy fellowship and Bible Study. Each group has people from a wide range of backgrounds and ages. You would be welcome to attend and become part of any of these groups.
Each group meets in Sabbath School time (10:15am - 11:15am). A number of the groups also have a midweek meeting in someone's home (contact the leader to find out where). Each group also organises an ongoing social program including various things - going out for meals, sporting events, picnics, bike rides or just about anything you can think of!
Adult Sabbath School Classes
Joan & Bert Gibb's Class
To access this class you need to walk onto the stage and enter into the front room at the very front of the church.
Byron Gilmore's Class
Our class meets in the mid-section of the church building.
We have a mixture of church members, casual attenders and non-Adventists attending our class. During the class we mostly spend time discussing the lesson for the week. We are all very open, honest and accepting of other people's opinions.
Our class is informal and develops good discussion. People in our class are very willing to say what they believe, while respecting the opinions of others. It is also personal; we genuinely care about each other's welfare.

'Cry Room' Class
Our class operates in the 'cry room'. This is not because we are a somber lot but because we enjoy the quiet undisturbed atmosphere this room affords. We are a lively group who enjoy discussing God's word in an open and accepting atmosphere. Visitors are most welcome.
Outside of Sabbath School we have commenced getting together for lunches. In the future we hope to adopt a small country church and offer them support and friendship through our God given talents.

Joy Hawke's Class
Our class meets in the main church in front of the organ. We enjoy opening God's word together and sharing spiritual insights.
We regularly have Sabbath lunches together and occasionally socialise at other times with activities such as a games evening or a meal at a restaurant. We meet every Wednesday evening for Bible study and prayer. This is a great time of fellowship together, as we are able to share and pray for each other and our church. We also have a fortnightly Wednesday afternoon get-together where we make children's clothes to send to an orphanage in Africa.
We welcome members of other groups and people from the community to join us in this outreach.

Kathy Ralph's Class
This group has recently divided into 2 groups - the second now being Rob Steeds class. Our group meets in the kitchen-end of the church hall. We have a wide-range of ages, all who are young in spirit are most welcome.
Each week we touch base with everyone and find out how everyone's week has been, highs and lows. We then have a time of prayer, followed by Bible study. A number of our group lead out on different weeks.
We meet monthly for a casual gathering usually around a meal (Friday night or Saturday lunch) and we have a social most months. We are currently using our socials to raise funds for a Kenyan orphanage.
We love new members, having a regular social program makes it easy for new people to gain a sense of belonging in the church.

Robyn Stanley's Class
Robyn's class meets in the new church office and can be accessed off the door from the foyer or the door opposite the ‘cry room'.
Our Bible study class loves visitors! Life is made up of so many interesting and valuable people and if you would like to join us for a time of discovering what God has to say about life and how we can get the very best out of our short lives, we would love to have you join us. Should you find us not too scary, you would be welcome to join us for some fun social occasions too.
May God bless you as you seek after Him and His wonderful will and purposes for your life.
Robyn Stanley
David Phillips' Class
Our class meets on the right-hand side of the front of the church building, adjacent to the piano. We are made up of mature, intelligent people, with a good mixture of males and females.
We take time to share about how we are going in life, as well as studying the Bible and discussing it together. We often eat lunch together and visit each other.
We are a happy group with an outward-looking interest in the community.
